Many thanks to Mayer Fire Department ahd Chief McGhee for their purchase of this ready-to-roll HME Ahrens-Fox Type 3 Model 34 Urban-Interface Pumper.  It’s equipped with a 500-gallon tank; PTO-driven, 500-gpm Darley pump; engine-driven Darley aux. pump and FoamPro 1600 system.  It rides on a Freightliner M2-106 4×4, 4-door chassis, and is ideally suited for the hard-to-reach wildland and urban-interface areas that surroud Mayer.

It’s ready to head out on wildland fires now.
