El Mirage Fire Department – HME 1871 Pumper

Many thanks to El Mirage Fire Department (AZ) for the purchase of this HME Ahrens-Fox pumper with aftermarket enhancements completed by Alexis Fire Equipment Co. This 1000-gallon pumper features 304-grade stainless body construction and rides on a custom HME 1871 chassis with Cummins ISL 450-HP engine. It’s equipped with plenty of storage, a refrigerated cabinet for drugs and a supplemental 120VAC RV-style AC system to keep crews cool in the Arizona sun.
